Today I signed my twins up for kindergarten. I was expecting some resistance from at least one of them. Boy, was I wrong!

We walked into the school and they immediately charmed the school nurse and soon had the principal showing them around. (There is an open house scheduled in August for this purpose. It's not something that was to be done today.) They even talked their teacher into showing them their classroom.

The boys did not like it at all when I said it was time to go! They wanted to stay the rest of the day! I suppose I should be happy to see them take to school so well, but just a tiny bit of sadness, hiding and/or hesitation would have been nice. I dread it when school actually starts. I already feel forgotten! They are growing up too fast!

Happy Birthday to my twins boys, Justin and Jordan!! They are 5 years old today! Mommy and Daddy love you!!

I would like to send a special congratulations to my niece, Jessica,

and her husband, Larry, on the birth of their son, Spencer.

He is beautiful and healthy and such a blessing!

He was born Thursday, March 12 and weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz.

Welcome, Spencer! We love you!
